First of all, we are SO excited that you are considering us to do your  boudoir session! Whether you’re doing this as a gift for your partner, a wedding surprise, or just for yourself (because you totally deserve it), we promise it’s going to be an amazing, confidence-boosting experience.


This guide is here to help you prepare so you feel relaxed, confident, and absolutely stunning when the big day arrives!

CHOOSING YOUR STUDIO & VIBE


YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION SHOULD REFLECT YOU—WHETHER THAT’S SOFT AND ROMANTIC, BOLD AND SULTRY, OR A LITTLE MIX OF BOTH! WE OFFER SESSIONS IN A FEW DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, DEPENDING ON THE VIBE YOU’RE GOING FOR.

 

We love using Studio House AZ (Phoenix) for our boudoir sessions. Included in any of our Boudoir Packages is any of these set ups that catches your eye.

The Lounge

Moody, luxurious feeling - perfect for boudoir or couples sessions.

The room features a large concrete wall, a moody black brick wall, a metallic wallpaper nook, and a deep purple wall.  This space is equipped with a modern four poster King sized bed, a leather couch and ottoman, chair, and large gold standing mirror.

THE VILLA: BEDROOM

White walls, queen size bed with white sheers lining around, a large gold mirror & cream leather chair.

THE VILLA: LIVING ROOM

White walls, black floral wall mural, and a variety of furniture to move around! included are a pink velvet couch and large black mirror to mix in and use as you’d like. We love the moody, feminine feel to this room!

THE ATRIUM

The Atrium is a large room rental with two sub spaces made to look like a dreamy greenhouse! Huge windows line the room and give the prettiest natural light all day long! Features tons of live plants, a green velvet couch, a wicker chair, and a newly updated rattan day bed nook with velvet green drapes.

In-Home Session

In-Home Session – Want something ultra-personal? Your own space can be the perfect backdrop for a cozy, intimate vibe.

The Warehouse

The Warehouse is a one room suite with industrial vibes that bring the outside feel of this 1930’s historical building to the inside! This is a large open room with lots of beautiful windows and amazing light. This space is equipped with a big bench and multiple stools to choose from, and paper backdrops.

WHAT TO WEAR


The best outfits are the ones that make you feel amazing! Here are some ideas to get you started:


✔ Lace & Satin Lingerie – Classic and timeless. Bodysuits, matching bra and panty sets, or a silky slip dress are always stunning.


✔ Oversized Sweater or Button-Up Shirt – Super cozy and subtly sexy (plus, a great option if you want a mix of covered and uncovered looks).


✔ Bridal Vibes – If this is for your wedding, bring your veil, garter, or even your wedding shoes for a personal touch.


✔ Nothing But Sheets – Simple, effortless, and stunning!


✔ His Shirt or Jersey – A fun, personal touch that can make the session feel even more meaningful.


✔ Heels & Accessories – Strappy heels, thigh-high stockings, or delicate jewelry can elevate your look.


Pro Tip: Bring at least 3 outfit options so we can mix it up!

HOW TO PREP FOR YOUR SESSION

A little preparation goes a long way in making sure you feel your absolute best!



Skincare & Beauty Prep


✔ Hydrate – Drink plenty of water the week leading up to your session for that fresh, glowing skin.

✔ Moisturize – Keep your skin soft, but avoid lotions with shimmer or SPF (they can reflect light).

✔ Avoid Spray Tans – They can look uneven or orange on camera. Natural skin tones always photograph best!

✔ Wax/Shave in Advance – If waxing, do it a few days before to avoid irritation.


Hair & Makeup


✔ Messy, Effortless Hair is Best! Loose, tousled waves or soft curls always look stunning. If you love volume, try styling your hair the day before for that perfect “undone” look.

✔ Professional Makeup is Worth It (included in our GIVE ME MORE and FULL EXPERIENCE packages) – A little extra glam (think soft, sultry eyes and a natural glow) will make your photos pop.

✔ Avoid Spray Tans – They can look uneven or orange on camera. Natural skin tones always photograph best!

✔ Wax/Shave in Advance – If waxing, do it a few days before to avoid irritation.
